IRIDESCENT GLASS EARRINGS

Carnival Glass Earrings -✿- By A Closet In Delirium and Novapsis

The focal point of these iridescent Czech Carnival Glass earrings is so unique that no two beads are identical. The geometric pattern is fused over transparent blue glass in these boho chic earrings and can vary from purple to blue to gold to pink. Don't forget to "zoom" in on the photos to get a closer look at the color extremes of these colorful earrings.

The focal bead is punctuated with Blue Zircon Swarovski Crystal on the top and a Czech Glass teardrop with an iridescent carnival glass-type finish on the bottom. All of the metals have a vintage gold finish including the leverback earwires that keep these earrings securely in place. These carnival glass earrings are approximately 2.25" long.

For these Carnival Glass Earrings:
♪ A Note on Czech Glass ♪
A cottage industry since Roman times, glass beads manufactured in Bohemia (the current Czech Republic) rose to the top of the world markets in the 19th century when skilled local glass/crystal crafters began the art of pressed glass production. During political upheavals of the mid-20th century, production ceased for several years, but the Czechs rapidly went back to the forefront of world beadmaking when production resumed in 1958.
