Brown Lace Eyeglass Necklaces -✿- By A Closet In Delirium and Ann Louise Studio

The beautiful crocheted brown lace in these eyeglass necklaces and eyeglass chains has the look of hand-crocheted cotton but is actually a soft polyester. The tips are finished with Czech beads in both pressed rounds and gorgeous fire-polished faceted crystal beads made of honey colored transparent glass with metallic blue iris highlights. This is a lovely one of a kind twist on standard lace eyeglass necklaces and eyeglass chains.  These eyeglass necklaces and eyeglass chains from Ann Louise Studio™ are ideal for everyday use.

For these Eyeglass Necklaces and Eyeglass Chains:
A Note on Fire-Polished Crystal
Czech fire-polished crystal beads are machine faceted, then polished by glazing inside a red-hot oven. This gives them glistening colors with a "softer" look and smoother feel. These glass crystals reflect light beautifully with an allure that makes them much sought after by jewelers.

A Note on Czech Glass
A cottage industry since Roman times, glass beads manufactured in Bohemia (the current Czech Republic) rose to the top of the world markets in the 19th century when skilled local glass/crystal crafters began the art of pressed glass production. During political upheavals of the mid-20th century, production ceased for several years, but the Czechs rapidly went back to the forefront of world beadmaking when production resumed in 1958.
